Bhavnagar: In the firing line of Opposition within the wake of the violence at Ajnala in Amritsar district, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann sought to dispel fears of a deteriorating regulation and order scenario claiming the clashes had been an try by neighbouring Pakistan to stoke tensions and disturb peace within the border state.Speaking at a press convention in Bhavnagar, Gujarat on Sunday, the Punjab chief minister stated “1,000 people” (followers of alleged Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh, who besieged the Ajnala police station to free a jailed fellow member of radical outfit `Waris Punjab De`) don’t symbolize Punjab, including that they had been funded by Pakistan in a bid to disturb peace within the state.

A day after the clashes, Mann, on February 24, claimed that the regulation and order scenario was beneath management.Punjab`s Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, stated earlier acceptable motion shall be taken in opposition to the individuals concerned within the violence.”As far as yesterday`s incident is worried, acceptable motion shall be taken.
