Thirteen undertrials escaped from a Covid-19 particular jail in Haryana after chopping iron grills of a barrack, police stated on Sunday.
While 4 belonged to a jail in Rewari, 9 from Mahendragarh.
All escapees, lodged in under-construction jail in Rewari, have been Covid optimistic and managed to escape late Saturday night time, a police official stated.
Some of the escapees have been going through prices for rape, homicide and dacoity.
A complete of 493 Covid optimistic prisoners from throughout the state have been lodged within the Rewari jail.
The incident got here to mild when jail officers counted the prisoners within the morning, sources added.
Four groups of the police have launched a search operation to arrest the inmates.
