150 fall ill after consuming ‘prasad’ in Odisha village
More than 150 folks took ill after consuming ‘prasad’ at a mass spiritual congregation Balasore, a senior official stated. Of them, 111 folks needed to be rushed to close by neighborhood well being centre and clinics as their situation turned severe, he stated.
According to official sources, devotees complained of nausea and unfastened movement after consuming ‘prasad’ on Friday night at a spiritual ceremony at Guilajudi village in Basta block of the district.
Most of them recovered after preliminary therapy, the official stated.
A medical workforce from Balasore district headquarters hospital visited the affected space earlier in the day to take care of the sufferers.
