Jalaun (UP): A metallic container full of 279 cash courting again to 1862 and silver ornaments had been recovered in the course of the development of a home in a village right here, and handed over to the Archaeological Survey of India, the official stated on Sunday.
The cash and ornaments had been recovered on Saturday throughout excavation for the development of the home in Vyas Pura village of Kotwali Jalaun.
Deputy District Magistrate of Orai, Rajesh Singh, stated Kamlesh Kushwaha was allotted a home below the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the inspiration of the home was being dug on Saturday.
He stated a employee on the spot stumbled upon the container.
