Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh): The police arrested two individuals for allegedly selling cow meat in Chakkarbhatha locality underneath Chakkarbhatha police station limits of Bilaspur district on Wednesday, an official stated. The accused have been recognized as Narasimha Rohidas (50), a resident of Rahangi and Ramniwasi Meher (52), a resident of Mudhipar. They have been carrying cow meat in a sack. Bilaspur Superintendent of Police (SP) Parul Mathur stated that round 50 locals reached the police station together with the 2 accused and lodged a criticism that they have been selling cow meat by carrying it in a sack. Following which, a veterinary physician was known as for the examination of the meat in the sack.
