The Chhattisgarh authorities is all set to credit score the financial institution accounts of farmers within the state on May 21 underneath the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana being launched by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.  

The choice to deposit NYAY funds instantly within the financial institution accounts of farmers was taken in a cupboard sub-committee assembly held earlier in May 2021 underneath the chairmanship of Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey.

The scheme was introduced by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi earlier in 2020, and it goals to present a further respite to the farmers of the state whereas boosting the agricultural financial system. The stimulus can also be aimed toward serving to farmers battle the pandemic-led financial downturn.

As half of Rajiv Gandhi’s Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmers rising paddy, maize and sugarcane crops obtain funds as well as to the minimal help worth (MSP) offered by the federal government. 

Overall, 20 lakh farmers within the state will profit from the NYAY scheme. The state authorities has put aside Rs 5100 crore from the funds to settle funds underneath the NYAY scheme.
