Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on the event of International Women’s Day on Tuesday, introduced that 33 % of presidency jobs in Tripura will probably be reserved for women.

Addressing a rally right here to mark the fourth anniversary of the BJP-IPFT authorities in the northeastern state, he mentioned that Biplab Deb’s administration has put a full cease to political violence. Shah claimed that farmers’ earnings have doubled beneath the current authorities, and the per capita earnings has elevated to Rs 1.3 lakh.

“Agartala has been connected with the rest of the country through rail. A total of 542 km of national highways have been built,” he mentioned. The Union house minister mentioned that there was a 30 % dip in heinous crimes in Tripura, and the conviction charge has elevated to 53 % from 5 %.

Shah mentioned that the ruling dispensation will fulfill all guarantees made in the earlier manifesto, and he’ll return to Tripura to hunt votes. The northeastern state will go to meeting polls early subsequent 12 months.
