Delhi doctor commits suicide in Malviya Nagar. (Representational picture)
A 35-year-old doctor of a personal hospital in south Delhi was found hanging from the ceiling of his residence in Malviya Nagar, police stated on Saturday.
Malviya Nagar police station obtained a name at 11.16 pm on Friday the place it was knowledgeable officers that the husband of the caller’s pal was not opening the door of his residence.
“Police reached at the given address on the second floor of a building in Malviya Nagar and found that a person was hanging from a ceiling fan with a saree,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) Atul Kumar Thakur stated. Crime workforce was referred to as at the spot and the scene was inspected.
The deceased has been recognized as Vivek Rai, a doctor. He used to work at Max Hospital in Saket and was residing at Malviya Nagar with his spouse, police stated.
The physique was shifted to AIIMS mortuary and autopsy of the deceased was carried out. The physique was later handed over to his cousin, the DCP stated.

On looking the room, a word was found whereby no allegation was made in opposition to anyone. The word, purportedly written by Rai, he wished effectively for all his acquaintance, police stated. Inquest continuing below part 174 CrPC was underway, police added.
The physique of the deceased doctor was shifted to AIIMS mortuary and autopsy of the deceased was carried out. After the autopsy, the physique was handed over to the cousin of the deceased.
