Hangzhou Asian Games medal-winners Abhay Singh (Tamil Nadu) and Tanvi Khanna (Delhi) are the boys’s and ladies’s top seeds on the 79th National squash championship to be held from November 17 to 23 on the Indian Squash and Triathlon Academy (ISTA) right here.
Defending champion Abhay Singh is collaborating for the third time within the championship. Ramit Tandon (West Bengal) and final version’s runner-up Velavan Senthilkumar (TN) are seeded second and third within the males’s class. Anahat Singh (Delhi) and Urwashi Joshi (Maharashtra) are second and third within the ladies’s class. This can be Ramit’s second and Velavan’s fifth time collaborating within the championship. Harinder Pal Sandhu, seeded fifth within the males’s class, will make his sixteenth look within the championship.
A complete of 417 gamers from 26 states will compete throughout 11 occasions (males, ladies, pro-coach, and masters within the age group of 35 to 70 years) within the event. The males’s class options 174 individuals, and the ladies’s class 63. The complete prize cash is ₹8.8 lakh.
