‘83’, which is based on India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup victory, was originally slated to hit the silver screens on April 10, 2020. However, the makers had to postpone the film’s release due to the COVID-19 crisis. Speculations were rife that ‘83’ will release in December 2020; however, the rumours died when the producers didn’t issue any statement regarding the film.
Interestingly, three big films will entertain the audience in the month of June. Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Jhund’ will hit the big screens on June 18 while Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Shamshera’ will arrive in the cinemas a week later. ‘Shamshera’, which is a period action drama, also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
