90 young soldiers join Ladakh scouts regiment

As many as 90 well-trained recruits joined the Ladakh Scouts regiment as soldiers on Saturday. To mark their entry into the distinguished regiment, an attestation parade was held on the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre in Leh.

The spectacular ceremony, carried out in consonance with the very best traditions of the Indian Army, was reviewed by Major General Akash Kaushik, Chief Of Staff, Fire and Fury Corps. 

The Young Soldiers, hailing from all areas of Ladakh, took the oath to serve the nation. The Reviewing Officer congratulated them and urged them to commit their life in service to the nation as proud soldiers of the Indian Army.
