Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah Kashyap took to social media to call out the users, who passed ‘derogatory and disgusting’ comments against her for sharing a picture from her lingerie shoot. The star kid claimed that she received rape threats after she posted the photo from her shoot on Instagram. She penned a long note on her official Instagram handle to slam the haters and highlight the issue of online harassment which women have to deal with.
Aaliyah said that she considered deleting her Instagram handle and tried to ignore the harassment. She called out the people for staging protests and holding candle marches for a woman when she is sexually assaulted but ‘not protecting her while she is alive’.

The star kid shared screenshots of the vile messages she received from different users on Instagram. She wrote, “Nothing I do or post is an invitation for sexual assault. Nothing any woman does, ever can be. So instead of policing women how to dress or how to act, we should unteach men the predatory behavior that has been so normalized in our society.” Check out her full post!
