JNUSU claims attack on students, ABVP denies charge

JNU Clash: In a significant improvement, Jawaharlal Nehru University has once more been dealing with turmoil after two teams of scholars allegedly indulged in a conflict on Sunday night time. According to studies, the incident occurred when the Left-controlled JNU Students’ Union was allegedly attacked by college students of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (AVBP) whereas they have been marching contained in the campus looking for justice for an IIT Bombay pupil, Darshan Solanki, who allegedly died by suicide.

However, the ABVP has denied the charge.

The RSS-affiliated ABVP accused the Left-backed pupil outfits of “insulting” Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) organised looking for justice for Solanki pm Sunday night.

ABVP denies fees 

In a press release, the JNUSU stated, “ABVP has once again resorted to attacking students. This was done soon after a candlelight march in solidarity with the call by Darshan Solanki’s father. ABVP does this once again to derail the movement against caste discrimination.” The ABVP denied the charge and accused the “Left group” of eradicating a garland from an image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and throwing it away. The pupil outfit stated it organised a operate to mark the start anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. “Immediately after the programme, the students on the Left came there and removed the garland from the picture and threw it away,” the ABVP stated in a press release.

Second incident inside a month

Earlier final month, an identical conflict erupted between college students after some left-wing college students watched a controversial documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The documentary titled- “India: The Modi Question”, allegedly showcased PM Modi in a foul mild and questioned his alleged position within the 2002 Gujarat riots.  While talking to media individuals, Aishe Ghosh, president of the Left-backed Students’ Federation of India, stated that the mission was profitable as the scholars had already watched the documentary. The college students have additionally apprehended an alleged ABVP pupil named Gaurav. Some college students alleged that Gaurav had pelted stones once they have been watching the documentary.
