The Uttar Pradesh Assembly began on a stormy observe on February 20 with the Opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) disrupting Governor Anandiben Patel’s address with “Rajyapal wapas jao” slogans.

While making an attempt to evict the SP legislators, marshals posted within the premises had a scuffle with photojournalists on the web site, resulting in protests.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya termed the protest as an try to “vitiate” the environment and stated the Opposition celebration is left with no legitimate problem to lift.

“The State is progressing on the path of development. The SP does not have any issue and is trying to divert the attention of people towards them and vitiate the atmosphere,” he stated.

“Whatever issues they have, they should come to the House and discuss. The government is ready to reply to them,” he added.

When requested concerning the demonstration, Mr. Maurya stated it doesn’t matter whether or not Mr. Shivpal Singh Yadav or Mr. Akhilesh Yadav or their whole household sit on dharna, including, “We have our target of development and we are focussing on it.”
