Sensex Today: Domestic markets opened flat on Thursday, amid mixed global cues.

The Sensex was up 39.24 factors or 0.07% at 59,784.22, and the Nifty was up 6.70 factors or 0.04% at 17,561. About 1092 shares have superior, 708 shares declined, and 110 shares are unchanged.

ONGC, HCL Tech, UPL, BPCL and TCS had been amongst main gainers on the Nifty, whereas losers had been Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints and Titan Company.

Broader markets, in the meantime, had been mixed in commerce as Nifty SmallCap 100 index outperformed Nifty MidCap 100 index.

Sectorally, Nifty IT, and Nifty Metal indices had been off to an honest begin, whereas Nifty IT index was the worst hit because it declined over 1 per cent.

Among particular person shares, shares of Tata Steel gained marginally after the corporate acquired extra shares of Neelachal Ispat Nigam for Rs 300 crore.

Global Cues

In the commodities basket, costs of Brent Crude and WTI Crude gained up to 0.2 per cent to $80 per barrel, and $74 per barrel, respectively.
