Addressing a webinar on various announcements made in the Union Budget 2023-24 on green growth, Modi said, “India will play an important role in green energy, I invite all stakeholders to invest in India.” He acknowledged that the potential of renewable power like photo voltaic, wind power and biogas in India isn’t lower than a goldmine, he stated.

He acknowledged that the federal government may be very focussed on bio-fuel and it’ll deliver a lot of alternative for buyers.

He referred to India attaining 10 per cent ethanol mixing goal 5 months forward of schedule. He additionally talked about assembly the goal of 40 per cent non-fossil gasoline capability 9 yr forward of schedule.

He acknowledged that Budgets since 2014 haven’t simply addressed current challenges however have furthered new-age reforms.

He acknowledged that India has to enhance battery storage capability to 125 giga-watts hour.
