SpiceJet plane makes emergency landing in Kolkata after pilot spots THIS issue

SpiceJet emergency landing: In yet one more incident, a SpiceJet flight on the best way to Bangkok made an emergency landing on the Kolkata airport in the early hours of Monday. This got here after the pilot observed that an engine blade was damaged.

According to the officers, the Boeing 737, working as flight SG83, took off with 178 passengers and 6 crew members from the Kolkata airport for Bangkok round 1.09 am. Minutes later, the pilot observed that the blade of the left engine was damaged.

Full emergency declared

Soon, he contacted the air site visitors management and a full emergency was declared on the Kolkata airport with hearth engines, ambulances, and emergency groups of the CISF in ready, they added.


The plane made an emergency landing at 1.27 am and all of the passengers and crew members have been introduced out safely, airport officers stated.

The full emergency was terminated at 2 am, they stated. The passengers left for Bangkok on one other flight at 7.10 am, officers stated. The plane with the defective engine blade was present process checking, they stated.
