British Foreign Minister James Cleverly raised the issue of BBC tax searches with External Affairs Minister (EAM) throughout a bilateral assembly on Wednesday, the Minister instructed in an interview.
Last month, the Income Tax division performed searches on the BBC places of work in New Delhi and Mumbai.
The searches got here after the British broadcaster launched a documentary made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s management of Gujarat throughout riots in 2002.
