Delhi (*40*): A personal bus carrying a number of students of the Varsity overturned on Friday in Himachal throughout a visit to Manali. The officers knowledgeable one died in the accident and 40 others had been injured. There had been 44 folks in the bus, together with 35 ladies students from Kamala Nehru College and 6 coordinators for the group, SDM Bilaspur, Abhishek Kumar Garg stated. The accident passed off on the Chandigarh-Manali highway.
One scholar, hailing from Jaipur, was crushed to demise whereas 4 others suffered fractures and relaxation minor accidents, the officers stated.
Passersby pulled out the injured from the bus and rushed them to the Bilaspur Regional Hospital. One passenger was referred to PGI Chandigarh and two to AIIMS Bilaspur.
Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving towards the motive force of the bus. The driver and the conductor fled the spot after the accident, Garg added.
