Don’t panic, Tamil Nadu people nice and friendly: Governor Ravi assures migrant workers

Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi on Sunday referred to as upon labourers from northern states to not panic or really feel insecure whereas working within the southern state and mentioned the people of Tamil Nadu had been nice and pleasant.

“Governor urged the north Indian labourers in Tamil Nadu not to panic and feel insecure, as the people of Tamil Nadu are very nice and friendly, and the State government is committed to provide them security,” the Raj Bhavan tweeted in English, Tamil and Hindi.

The tweets had been put out in opposition to the backdrop of rumours being unfold that Hindi-speaking people had been being attacked in Tamil Nadu. On Saturday, Chief Minister M.Okay. Stalin, whereas reassuring the labourers that they had been integral to the State’s improvement, had declared that these spreading the rumours had been appearing in opposition to the nation.

Mr. Stalin had mentioned that those that had unfold rumours had prompted hurt to nationwide integrity and that strict authorized motion could be taken in opposition to them. He identified that Tamil Nadu has been a cradle of hospitality and prolonged a serving to hand to people arriving right here.
