New Delhi: A 16-year-old woman was allegedly shot by her pal on Monday night in northeast Delhi’s Nand Nagri district. Police obtained info at 8:27 pm relating to the incident, they stated. They reached the spot at Subhash Park and located that the woman had been shot at by her pal Kasim. She was shifted to the GTB hospital by her members of the family, a senior police officer stated.
“The girl was shot in the shoulder. Her friend Kasim, aged 19-20 years fired at her over an argument. We formed multiple teams to nab him. The accused Kasim has been caught. A case under IPC 307 has been registered. Probe underway,” stated Joy Tirkey, DCP (Northeast), Delhi as quoted by ANI.
The woman is underneath remark on the hospital and her situation is secure. Efforts are on to hint and apprehend the accused, the officer stated, sufficient personnel have been deployed within the space.
According to a police official, they obtained a name about 8.30 p.m. telling them of a taking pictures within the Subhash Park neighbourhood of Nand Nagri. Seeing the gravity of the state of affairs, sufficient police employees have been deployed within the space to keep away from untoward incidents. Further investigation within the matter however no arrest has been made as of now, police stated.
