The High Level Committee (HLC) that met below the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday, has authorized additional Central assistance of ₹941.04 crore to poll-bound Karnataka below the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) in the direction of damages due to flood, landslips, and cloudburst throughout 2022.
Karnataka is one of the 5 States to get such additional Central assistance. An official launch mentioned the assistance was over and above the funds launched by the Centre to the States within the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
