Ecommerce platform Flipkart has dropped a voice search on its platform that can enable clients to search for merchandise by talking in English, Hindi or Hinglish.
Flipkart mentioned that the introduction of the voice search function will allow quicker onboarding of consumers from smaller cities and simplify their e-commerce journey.
More than 75 % of Internet customers in India come from non-English talking backgrounds.
