Indian cricket group’s center order batter Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of India vs Australia ODI collection, fielding coach T Dilip confirmed on Wednesday. The Indian star was affected by a lower-back damage and there have been stories that he would miss the ODI collection and is uncertain for the Indian Premier League. 

However, the Indian fielding coach confirmed Iyer can be absent from the ODI collection as his again damage has resurfaced. “Injuries are a part and parcel of the game. We have the best medical facilities and they are well-equipped… We are in coordination (with NCA). Shreyas ruled out of this series. (We will be able to provide) further, update as and when we know,” Dilip advised the media in a presser. 

Iyer is at present on the NCA and is present process rehabilitation for his damage. It is being mentioned that Iyer may miss the complete IPL 2023, which will likely be a giant blow to the Kolkata Knight Riders, the aspect he leads within the Indian cash-rich league.
