As many as 156 critical infrastructure gaps to ports and for motion of bulk commodities resembling coal, cement, fertilizers and foodgrains, have been identified for intervention underneath the PM Gati Shakti initiative, an official assertion stated on Saturday.
The PM Gati Shakti programme was launched by the federal government on October 13, 2021.
So far, 44 Network Planning Group conferences had been held on the central stage, whereby 66 main infrastructure projects price ₹5 lakh crore, have been evaluated, the commerce and business ministry stated.
The Network Planning Group (NPG) is constituted underneath the initiative.
“156 critical infrastructure gaps to ports and for movement of bulk commodities such as coal, cement, fertilizers and foodgrains, have been identified for intervention,” it stated.
To facilitate wider adoption of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, a sequence of regional workshops are being organised throughout all states/UTs.
These workshops goal to convey extra vigour and construct synergy amongst completely different stakeholders leading to mutual studying amongst States/UTs and central ministries/departments.
