Google Meet’s New Feature Lets Admins Provide Custom Background Pics


Google is rolling out External labels for Meet individuals.

This will permit customers to simply choose a picture that correctly represents their firm’s particular model and magnificence.

Tech large Google has introduced that it’s rolling out new options to its video-communication service “Google Meet”, including the ability to allow admins to provide custom background images for their users.

“We’ve heard from our users that having backgrounds that match your brand guidelines are important for visual polish during critical meetings,” the tech large mentioned in a Workspace Updates weblog submit on Tuesday.

With the brand new function, admins can present a set of photos for the “background substitute” feature in Google Meet.

This will allow users to easily select an image that properly represents their company’s specific brand and style.

Also, the tech giant is rolling out “External” labels for Meet individuals.

“Users will see a label within the top-left nook of their assembly display indicating that individuals who’re exterior to the assembly host’s area have joined the assembly,” the company said.

Meanwhile, last month, the tech giant had launched several new 360-degree video backgrounds for Meet users on mobile for both iOS and Android.
