9 Chinese Nationals Killed in Central African Republic: Report

Raiders have killed 9 Chinese nationals in an assault on a mine in the Bambari area of troubled Central African Republic, a neighborhood mayor stated Sunday.

“We have counted 9 our bodies and two wounded,” the mayor of Bambari, Abel Matchipata, told AFP, adding that the victims were Chinese workers at a site run by the Gold Coast Group, 25 kilometres (15 miles) from his town.
