Market Opens: Indian indices opened on damaging notice on March 20 with Nifty under 17,100. Key indices Nifty50 declined over 100 factors to commerce under 17,000 ranges, whereas the S&P BSE Sensex lowered over 200 factors to commerce round 57,776 ranges.
Broader markets, too, edged decrease in commerce as Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 indices dropped as much as 0.3 per cent. Volatility index, India VIX, in the meantime, jumped over 5 per cent.
All sectors drowned in the ocean of pink, with Nifty IT, Nifty Metal, Nifty PSU Bank, and Nifty Media indices declining over 1 per cent every.
