Sports Ministry Approves Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat Training Stints in Kyrgyzstan and Poland


The Sports Ministry’s Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) has authorised star wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat’s request for coaching stints in Kyrgyzstan and Poland respectively.

While Bajrang requested to coach in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan for 16 days, Vinesh wished to coach on the Olympic Preparation Centre in Spala, Poland for 11 days.

The monetary help will cowl athletes’ air tickets, camp bills together with the price of coaching, boarding, and lodging, and miscellaneous prices comparable to airport switch, insurance coverage and inner journey, out of pocket allowance amongst different bills, a press launch acknowledged.
