Varun Dhawan wore a special sherwani designed by his maternal uncle and well-known fashion designer Manish Malhotra on the special occasion of his marriage. At the same time, Natasha Dalal, a fashion designer herself, wore her own designed lehenga. The couple looked ethereal as they took the wedding vows and promised to be with each other forever.
For the unversed, Natasha Dalal is an established fashion designer and has a brand name of her own, the couple has been spotted together making public appearance for various occasions. The ‘Coolie No 1’ actor has on different platforms has professed his love for Natasha.
Meanwhile, Varun and Natasha’s wedding rituals started at 6.00 pm with chants and prayers. During the marriage, there was a lot of dancing and singing and a lot of drums were also played to the tune of Hindi and Punjabi songs, on which the Baratis danced fiercely and thus enjoyed the special day of the couple. Other pre-wedding rituals of the newlyweds took place on January 23, 2021.
Varun and Natasha preferred to keep their relationship low-key. However, while in a chat with Kareena Kapoor Khan on her chat show, the ‘Kalank’ actor revealed how he met Natasha and how they started falling in love. he was quoted saying, “I actually met Natasha when I was in the sixth standard. We’ve not been dating since then but we were friends till the eleventh grade or so. But I remember that the minute I saw her, I went to Maneckji Cooper and she was in Yellow House and I in the Red House. We were on the basketball court and during the lunch break they would give you food and all…and I remember her walking and I remember seeing her.”
The ‘October’ actor further said that Natasha rejected him three to four times. He said, “I saw her and I felt like I fell in love with her. She rejected me some three or four times. I didn’t give up hope.”
On the professional front, Varun Dhawan was last seen starring in David Dhawan’s 45th film ‘Coolie No 1’ opposite Sara Ali Khan. He will next be seen starring in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ opposite Kiara Advani. This upcoming film will also star Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
