New Delhi: The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) on Saturday (March 6) stated that it has opened two technical bids for construction or constructing of bridges for the 508 km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) hall within the state of Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. 

Nine corporations have participated in technical bids for construction or constructing of bridges.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi after which Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe had on September 14, 2017 laid the inspiration stone for the formidable Rs 1.08 lakh crore ($17 billion) bullet practice challenge.

Bullet trains are anticipated to run at 320 km per hour protecting the 508-km stretch in about two hours. In comparability, trains presently plying on the route take over seven hours to journey the space, whereas flights take about an hour.

The challenge is predicted to get accomplished in 2023.
