Senior Congress chief and former Minister Ramalinga Reddy on Saturday stated the Congress candidates for the remaining 100 seats could be introduced quickly after the social gathering assembly on Monday. “By March-end, the party’s candidates for 224 seats will be announced,” he stated in Mysuru on Saturday.

Mr. Reddy, who took half within the inauguration of Karnataka Mahila Congress assembly right here, stated Varuna MLA Yathindra Siddaramaiah might get a chance to contest the following 12 months’s Lok Sabha election or the Legislative Council polls if he doesn’t get an opportunity to contest the following Assembly polls with the ticket for Varuna introduced to former CM Siddaramaiah.

He described as a hasty choice the disqualification of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi as MP. “The country’s party leaders and lakhs of party workers are with Mr. Rahul Gandhi,” he stated, accusing the BJP of participating in “revenge politics”.

Signature marketing campaign

(*100*) India Mahila Congress president Netta D’Souza, who inaugurated the Mahila Congress meet right here on Saturday to debate the following elections, stated the BJP was attempting to stifle the voice of Mr. Rahul Gandhi.

A signature marketing campaign will probably be launched in opposition to the BJP’s “political revenge” in opposition to Mr. Gandhi, she added.

She stated Priyanka Gandhi will probably be touring the State to marketing campaign for the social gathering within the elections.
