At least six labourers had been killed and three others injured when a wall of a school collapsed in Bihar’s Khagaria district on Monday. The incident happened in Chandi Tola space underneath Maheshkhunt police station, about 190 km from state capital Patna.
According to experiences, the tragedy happened through the development of a drain close to a main school. A JCB machine was getting used for excavation close to the wall of the school.Â
The wall of the school was broken because of the excavation and it collapsed trapping labourers working on the website.Â
The injured had been rushed to an area hospital.Â
