Last Day of Budget Session Today; Oppn MPs to Hold ‘Tiranga March’ & Address Media

Parliament Updates: Lok Sabha proceedings have been disrupted for the reason that second half of the Budget session started on March 13 due to protests by the opposition and Treasury benches

Amid repeated disruptions, the second leg of the funds session will finish immediately. MPs of a number of Opposition events will maintain a ‘Tiranga march’ from Parliament to Vijaya Chowk after each Houses are adjourned sine die on Thursday.

Opposition MPs may even maintain a press convention to spotlight that the second half of the Budget session was washed out allegedly due to the federal government’s perspective, Congress leaders mentioned

  • Congress common secretary group Ok C Venugopal mentioned the ‘Tiranga march’ will likely be organized after the 2 Houses are adjourned sine die as scheduled Thursday.

    ▶ Leaders of Congress, DMK, Samajwadi Party, Shiv Sena (UBT), TMC, AAP, JD(U), CPI, CPI(M), RJD, JMM, RSP and IUML, among others, attended the meeting.
