The Union Cabinet on Thursday authorized the Indian Space Policy, 2023 beneath which roles and obligations of organisations reminiscent of ISRO, NewSpace India Limited and personal sector entities have been laid down.
The authorities had earlier opened up the area sector for the personal sector to assist enhance growth of the phase.
“In brief, it will offer clarity in the role of the components set up (in the recent past),” Union minister Jitendra Singh instructed reporters right here.
He mentioned the coverage will purpose to improve the function of Department of Space, enhance actions of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) missions and provides a bigger participation of analysis, academia, startups and business.
