Every Good Friday, the day when Jesus Christ was crucified, is adopted by Easter, the day he resurrected from the useless. “Hence, one must fearlessly accept all “crosses” that are available in one’s life by the use of hardships, since hope is across the nook,” Cardinal Mar George Alenchery, Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Church, mentioned in his Good Friday message on Sunday. He exhorted believers to empathise with the struggling and the marginalised sections of society.

Other church denominations too noticed the day with piety, together with by studying out and analysing within the present-day context the seven final phrases of Christ on the Cross. Processions had been taken out by many church buildings in reference to the day.
