SC Agrees To Hear Plea Against Scrapping Of 4 Percent Muslim Quota In Karnataka


New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to checklist for listening to a plea difficult the Karnataka authorities’s determination to scrap the 4 p.c reservation for Muslims within the state. The 4 p.c OBC Muslim quota has been divided between the Vokkaligas and Lingayats. Muslims eligible for quota have been categorized beneath economically weaker sections now. The state authorities’s determination has pushed the reservation restrict to round 57 p.c now.
