Besides Balbir Singh Senior and Milkha Singh, the life tales of Asian Champion Boxer Kaur Singh and the nation’s first Arjuna awardee Olympian athlete Gurbachan Singh Randhawa have been included in the textbooks of bodily training of lessons 9 and 10.
“In consonance with the dedication of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to spice up the sports activities tradition in the state and to make Punjab a frontrunner in sports activities enviornment, the varsity training division has made biographies of nice sons of soil, a component of syllabus,” mentioned Bains.
