New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh authorities fashioned two three-member Special Task Forces to research and supervise the investigation into the deaths of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother almost after two days when after three assailants posing as media individuals killed Atiq Ahmad and his brother. The first SIT, led by Assistant DCP Satish Chandra, will examine Ahmed’s homicide, whereas the second will supervise the primary unit. The second SIT consisting of three members has been fashioned by Prayagraj Police within the homicide case registered at Shahganj police station.
Atiq Ahmed and his brother have been shot useless on Saturday amid police presence and buried in Prayagraj on the similar graveyard the place his son was laid to relaxation. The burial occurred late on Sunday with a big police presence. Only a number of family members of the deceased brothers and locals have been permitted to attend the funeral.
