Members of the AP JAC on Tuesday staged protests in entrance of district collectorates throughout the State demanding that the State authorities deal with their calls for and grievances.
JAC Chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu took half on the protests at Tirupati/Chittoor. On the event, Mr. Venkateswarlu mentioned that the onus lay on the State authorities to revive the old pension system and eliminate the CPS. The Central authorities had lucidly directed the State governments that if a CPS worker died, his or her contribution must be given to the members of the family.
But, within the final two years, the State authorities had not credited the quantity to the workers’ contributions made to the CPS PRAN account. Consequently, the deceased staff’ households had been struggling financially. The CPS staff and their households had been struggling hardships.
The Karnataka authorities was implementing the Central authorities directives to assist the CPS households. The staff had been unable to grasp why the State authorities was detached to their issues, he mentioned.
