Sankara Nethralaya’s paediatric ophthalmology division has launched “Doorstep eye care for children with special needs” as a part of its doorstep eye care for elders and the in another way abled (SN-DEED) initiative.
The special wants youngsters aged 6 to 14 will obtain complete eye examination and spectacles if their homes are situated inside the 30-km radius of the hospital located in Nugambakkam.
