Chhattisgarh: At many as 4 individuals, including three women, have been killed after soil caved in on them Koriya district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday, an official mentioned. The soil collapsed whereas they have been digging it in. According to the police, The deceased have been recognized as Puja Gond and Ramsundar, residents of Potedand village, and Manmati and Meera Bai of Gadtar village.
“The incident took place this evening near Banjaridand village located in a forest area when the victims were digging white clay,” Koriya Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh advised PTI. As per the preliminary data, after they have been digging soil, a portion of the earth caved in, as a consequence of which they acquired trapped beneath the particles and died on the spot, he mentioned.
A police group reached the incident web site and As quickly as they have been alerted and retrieved the our bodies. The collector mentioned that the our bodies have been despatched for a postmortem. Further investigation is underway.
