Assam-Arunachal border dispute: Assam and Arunachal Pradesh governments on Thursday (April 20) signed an agreement for the settlement of an inter-state boundary dispute in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah in the nationwide capital. The memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his Arunachal counterpart Prema Khandu to resolve the lengthy pending border dispute alongside the boundaries of each northeastern states.
