Former World Champion and six-time Asian champion Manavjit Singh Sandhu climbed on top of a 61-strong discipline in males’s lure within the third National shotgun choice trials on the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad.
The 46-year-old Manavjit beat Lakshjeet Singh Sindhu 29-25 for the top spot, after having shot 119, the third finest rating in qualification.
“The Asian Games is a big motivation for me. I have been slowly getting back into the sport and want to have another crack at it”, mentioned Manavjit who has competed within the final six Asian Games, and had received a silver medal in Doha in 2006.
