India’s high wrestlers have been protesting since April 23, demanding legal motion in opposition to WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh
WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who has been accused of sexual harassment by India’s high wrestlers, on Sunday claimed the athletes’ protest at Jantar Mantar is being pushed by the politicians from day one.
The nation’s high wrestlers, together with Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia, have been protesting since April 23, demanding legal motion in opposition to Singh for alleged sexual harassment and intimidation of seven wrestlers together with a minor.
A FIR has additionally been filed in opposition to the BJP MP.

Politicians reminiscent of Congress occasion’s Priyanka Gandhi and Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary, former Jammu and Kahsmir Governor Satya Pal Malik, Delhi authorities ministers Atishi Singh and Suarbah Bhardwaj have visited the protest website to increase their help to the athletes in the previous couple of days.
“This battle has gone past the athletes now as political events have turn into a part of it. From day one of many protest, I felt that this protest was politically motivated and never the voice of the athletes. They have been influenced by politicians.

“It is obvious that these athletes are getting used by Congress and different opposition events. It’s evident for the reason that starting that their (protesting wrestlers) motive is politics, not (my) resignation,” Singh told reporters.
