Uber has launched worldwide and home flight bookings on its UK app, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
The transfer is “the latest and most ambitious step” in the corporate’s technique to broaden its core ride-booking enterprise, Uber’s UK General Manager Andrew Brem instructed FT.
The San Francisco-based firm, which already gives prepare and coach ticket bookings in the UK, has begun rolling out the brand new function for its UK prospects and plans to broaden in the approaching weeks, the report mentioned.
Uber has partnered with journey reserving firm Hopper to promote flights and can take a small fee from every sale, the report mentioned.

Last month, Uber introduced the growth of its ‘Reserve’ facility throughout six extra cities in India, giving riders an choice to pre-book their rides half-hour to 90 days forward of their journey. With this, the service is now stay throughout 13 cities — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Guwahati — in India.
