New Delhi: After the Supreme Court dominated in favour of the Delhi authorities relating to energy over services, Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hailed the decision. Extending his gratitude to the apex courtroom for delivering ‘justice’, he stated that the ruling would assist enhance the nationwide capital’s tempo of improvement.

 ‘Democracy gained’

“Heartfelt thanks to the Hon’ble Supreme Court for doing justice to the people of Delhi. With this decision, the pace of development of Delhi will increase manifold. Democracy won.”

The AAP stated that the SC decision on the Centre-Delhi services row is a ‘tight slap’ on a mission to topple state governments across the nation.

AAP MP Raghav Chadha termed the Supreme Court verdict a ‘Landmark judgment’:  “Hon’ble Supreme Court’s landmark judgement sends a stern message that officers working with Govt of Delhi are meant to serve folks of Delhi by means of the elected authorities & not unelected usurpers parachuted by Centre to stall governance, particularly LG,” he stated in a tweet.

Meanwhile, Delhi CM Kejriwal has known as a gathering of his ministers right now after Supreme Court guidelines that the Delhi authorities has legislative powers over administrative services within the nationwide capital.

Supreme Court verdict

The Supreme Court on Thursday noticed that it is unable to agree with Justice Ashok Bhushan’s ruling within the cut up judgement of 2019.
