Jammu and Kashmir: An unidentified woman was shot dead by safety forces on Monday after she crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The officers knowledgeable that the woman was believed to be an intruder from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.Â
She was challenged by the troops when she crossed the LoC within the Kamalkote space and was coming near the border fence. However, she didn’t pay heed, officers additional knowledgeable.Â
The troops then opened fireplace on the woman, leading to her dying. According to the officers, the matter is being investigated.
