Bank of Baroda Q4 Profit Jumps Over 2-Fold to Rs 4,775 Cr; Dividend Announced

State-owned Bank of Baroda (BoB) on Tuesday reported over 2-fold leap in its March quarter internet revenue at Rs 4,775.33 crore on account of increased curiosity revenue and low provisions for dangerous loans.

The financial institution’s internet revenue in January-March 2021-22 was Rs 1,778.77 crore on a standalone foundation.

Interest revenue elevated to Rs 25,857 crore in fourth quarter of 2022-23 from Rs 18,174 crore within the year-ago interval, the financial institution mentioned in a inventory change submitting.

Provisions for dangerous loans and contingencies have been practically halved to Rs 1,420 crore throughout January-March 2023 from Rs 3,736 crore a 12 months in the past.

For the total 2022-23 fiscal, BoB’s internet revenue practically doubled to Rs 14,109 crore from Rs 7,272 crore a 12 months in the past.
