UPSC Result 2023: Garima Lohia secures second rank

Garima Lohia, who can also be a graduate of the University of Delhi, secured the second rank because the UPSC CSE 2022 outcomes have been introduced on Tuesday.

Lohia hails from Buxar in Bihar and cleared the examination in her second try. 

The first 4 rank holders are all ladies. While Uma Harathi N secured the third rank, Smriti Mishra obtained the fourth rank.

Harathi N, a resident of Hyderabad, certified the examination in her fifth try. She is a Bachelor of Technology diploma holder from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Hyderabad.

Mishra, a graduate of the University of Delhi, lives in Noida and cleared the examination in her third try with Zoology as her elective topic.

UPSC Result 2022: Over 900 candidates clear civil providers examination

As many as 933 candidates — 613 males and 320 ladies — have certified for the civil providers examination 2022, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) mentioned.

The prime 25 candidates comprise 14 ladies and 11 males, it added.

The civil providers examination is performed yearly in three phases — preliminary, essential, and interview — by the UPSC to pick out officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) amongst others.
